Climber rescued from mountain in Oman

Muscat: An Arab has been rescued after being stranded on a mountain in Musandam, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) said in a statement.

According to authorities, the man was rock climbing on one of the mountains in Khasab.

PACDA said, "The rescue team from the department of civil defence and ambulance in Musandam rescued a gulf national who was stranded on one of the mountains in Khasab.

"Emergency medical care was given to him on site, and he is currently in good health."
