Weather forecast: Occasional rain predicted in parts of Oman

Muscat: Cloudy skies are predicted over the coastal areas of Dhofar with the possibility of occasional rain, while the rest of the Sultanate will experience mainly clear skies, Oman's Meteorology Department has announced.

The report from the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) added that there are chances of clouds developing over the Al Hajar Mountains during the afternoon.

Low-level clouds or fog is expected over the coastal areas of the Arabian Sea and parts of the Oman Sea.

Meanwhile, Sunaiynah recorded the highest temperatures on Tuesday, when it touched 40.4 degree Celsius, while Qairon Hiriti recorded the lowest temperature at 18.8 degrees Celsius.
