Pakistan's Chief of Air Staff visits Oman

Muscat: Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Chief of Air Staff of Pakistan’s Air Force who is in the Sultanate on a bilateral visit, was received by Air vice Marshal Mattar bin Ali Al Obaidani, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) on Sunday.
The two sides exchanged viewpoints and discussed several matters of common concern.
Upon arrival, he was greeted by Salim bin Khalfan Al Rahbi, Deputy Commodore, second in RAFO hierarchy and H.E. Ali Javed, Ambassador of Pakistan to the Sultanate and the military attaché at the Pakistan Embassy in Muscat.
Air Chief Marshal Khan will depart from the Sultanate tonight after holding substantive engagements with Omani leadership, including H.E. Minister Responsible for Defence, Chief of the Royal Navy of Oman and a visit to the National Defence College.
Separated by a little over 200 nautical miles, Pakistan and Oman are individually and collectively strategically placed countries, with 5,000 years of common history, geography and kinship.
