Oman lifts ban on import of live birds from Netherlands

Muscat: The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries has issued a ministerial decision to lift the ban on importing live birds from the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

In its decision, the Ministry said: "Based on the recommendation of the Veterinary Authority to cancel the reason for the ban on the importation of live birds and their products and derivatives and their waste from the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the ministry decided to lift the ban on the importation of birds and their products and derivatives and their waste, contained in Ministerial Resolution No. 373/2017."
