Five dead in road accident

Muscat: Five members of an Omani family were killed in a traffic accident on Saturday.

The ROP reported that the accident took place near to the wilayat of Haima in Al Wusta.

According to the ROP statement "a traffic collision involving a single vehicle took place in Um Al Zamaem in the wilayat of Haima in the Al Wusta Governorate at a distance of 100 kilometres towards Muscat which lead to the death of five members of an Omani family."

No further details were provided.
