Two dead, one injured after fire on Indian oil tanker

Muscat: Two sailors died and one was injured after a fire broke out aboard an Indian registered oil tanker off the coast of Oman.
The Royal Air Force of Oman and the Royal Oman Navy, in coordination with the Maritime Security Centre, carried out an emergency airlift of the casualty and the two deceased from the vessel, in the Sea of ​​Oman.
The injured crew member was taken to Khoula Hospital in Muscat Governorate for treatment. The bodies of the deceased were also transferred to Sultan Qaboos Port for necessary action.
This comes within the framework of the roles and humanitarian tasks that contribute to the armed forces of the Sultan to all citizens, residents and passers-by, along with other institutions and other government agencies, authorities announced.
