212 illegal expat workers arrested in Oman

Muscat: More than 200 expat workers have been arrested for violating labour laws in Sohar, the Royal Oman Police announced.
The police revealed that the individuals were of various nationalities. In a statement online, ROP said, "Police in Noth Batinah arrested 212 people from various nationality for violating the labour law and entering the country illegally."
The suspects have been sent to the appropriate authorities to complete their legal procedures.
