One drowns off Muscat coast

Muscat: A citizen has been found dead off the Khiran coast in the Governorate of Muscat, the Public Authority of Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) announced.
No information on what led to the drowning was made available, but officials did urge citizens and residents to be vigilant when they're around water bodies.
According to PACDA's statement online, "The Water Rescue Team of the Department of Civil Defence and Ambulance in Muscat Governorate, in collaboration with the Royal Oman Police and the Royal Oman Navy, managed to find [the body] of a citizen after he drowned on the Khiran coast in the state of Muscat."
