Oman's first laser projector cinema to open soon

Muscat: A laser projector cinema, the first of its kind in the Sultanate, will soon open in the country’s capital.

Al Muzn Oman Commercial has signed an agreement with Lunar Cinemas to open the cinema hall at Al Muzn Mall.

“This is going to be Oman’s first laser projector cinema that will accommodate 80 spectators and will be launched in November,” said Khalid Al Nabhani, CEO of Lunar Cinemas.

“Lunar cinema has come up with a new vision for film in the Sultanate. Soon, cinema goers can choose the film they want to see and watch it whenever they want to in the privacy of their own VIP suite,” Al Nabhani said.

The cinema will house three VIP suites with 42 seats and dining facilities, as well as a public hall with seating for 80 spectators. The state-of-the-art venue is expected to attract cinema lovers and increase footfalls to Al Mawaleh’s commercial stores.

Al Nabhani further added that they are incredibly pleased to have concluded their partnership with Al Muzn Mall, which comprises their third venue nationwide.

“Our new partnership offers an exceptional entertainment venue catering to residents from across the city as we don’t only offer a cutting-edge movie experience but also the privacy sought by many in Oman,” said Majed Machfej, General Manager of Al Muzn Commercial.

He added that with the opening of this cinema, and in addition to the children’s play area, the venue will bring the mall full circle as a highly commercial asset to this side of Muscat.
