Oman issues safety advisory for citizens in India

Muscat: The Sultanate's Consulate in Mumbai has advised its citizens to stay indoors on Thursday because of a scheduled workers' strike in the city, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
"The Sultanate's Consulate in Mumbai calls on its citizens who are currently in Mumbai to take precautions on Thursday, August 9, 2018 because of the workers' strike throughout Mumbai and demonstrations in the public streets from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The consulate advises its esteemed citizens to stay in their homes," Oman's Consulate in Mumbai said.
