Secure Tally.ERP 9 services available on the Cloud

Muscat: Cloud Acropolis is now offering Secure Tally.ERP 9 services on the Cloud to its customers in the Sultanate and across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
“Tally on the Cloud” is a unique initiative by Cloud Acropolis, a cloud and data centre service provider in Oman, that allows Tally.ERP9 users and company owners to secure their data and access it from anywhere.
With “Tally on the Cloud,” users can benefit from the exact same Tally interface but in a secure and managed way, from anywhere and at any time. The services are provisioned directly from https://cloudacropolis.com.
Tally.ERP9 is the most popular accounting and inventory software in the Sultanate, with thousands of users across the entire region hailing its ease of use and richness in features. The software is also popular with retail businesses and for point of sales as a result of its user-friendliness and simplicity.
“It is our endeavour to bring Tally with enhanced security and reliability as a service," said Cloud Acropolis CEO Dr. Kiarash Kiazand. “This is a first for the GCC from an Omani data centre. We are continuously striving so that companies can focus on their core business while we take care of their ICT needs.”
"The customers benefit from our state of the art infrastructure, through which we provide smoother, reliable, hassle-free, and full OPEX-mode services,” he added.
In contrast to the costs associated with software licences, servers, backup, administration, anti-virus, and other related products and services, Cloud Acropolis enables companies to utilise the same Tally at an affordable and monthly cost, with all business—from small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to big corporates-being charged the same price.
Data security and access from anywhere are the two main features of the entire “Tally on the Cloud” architecture. Each connection is highly encrypted, and users are required to go through several authentications.
Folders where user databases reside are fully segregated and individually encrypted. In addition, the entire setup resides in a fully redundant and highly available data centre connected to all telecom operators within the Sultanate. Experienced staff take care of the entire setup to ensure availability and reliability of the service for all of Cloud Acropolis’ clients, and all data is backed up in a secure secondary environment on a daily basis.
This setup takes away the complexities of IT infrastructure and other related costs, and delivers only the needed service in a secure, reliable, and affordable way.
“Tally on the Cloud” is expected to gain a good footing in the market with the impending introduction of Value-Added Tax (VAT) in the Sultanate, which is expected to facilitate Omani businesses’ compliance with regulations and statutory mandates. Business owners are also expected to benefit from the Tally service as it secures company data, discouraging misuse by employees or other parties.
