The 31 year old driver, after wonderful driving in the last stage of the rally on the third day which had been hosted in Teruel area in Spain for three days reached the end of the race in fourth place.
“He said that he was very happy to reach the finish point of the rally safe and sound without any mishaps,” he added, “Well, it is my pleasure to be one of the participants of this cross country rally and to be very frank I have gained a lot of experience in this rally which I attended for first time in my life and thanks goes to my navigator Al Faisal to guide me along the right route during the course of the race”.
Al Zubair after participating in the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge and Qatar Baja said he was excited to be a part of an international event this time, so he decided to attend Baja Aragon Spain on Buggy Can Am on a trial basis after studying the full course.
The first stage of the rally was the 13km Super Stage where Al Zubair was in 17th place, but the second day was more difficult and challengeable for all drivers including Al Zubair which was over distance of 215km.
After two minor mishaps and a delay of 10 minutes Al Zuabir managed to reach finish line in 27th place, which was a positive result despite the technical problems he faced during the day compared to his experience on the European circuit.
The evening stage was much better than the morning for Al Zubair after the rain had stopped but the Omani driver finished in 20th place which he was pleased with at the end of the race.
The final day of the rally was the best and more fruitful for Abdullah Al Zubair where he recorded the 4th fastest timing in his group, after completing all the stages of the rally he was positioned sixth and 15th overall in the National Baja Aragon Spain.
