Muscat: Rains and reduced visibility due to fog and dust have been predicted for parts of the Sultanate.

Moreover, seas are expected to be choppy along the coast of the Arabian Sea. The forecast was issued by the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) on their official Twitter handle.

“Cloudy skies are expected along the coastal areas of the Dhofar governorate, with the adjoining mountains to see intermittent drizzle. Clear to partly cloudy skies are expected along the coastal areas of the Arabian Sea, while the rest of the Sultanate will see mainly clear skies.

“Chances of cloud development over Al Hajar mountains during the afternoon may lead to isolated rain. Chances of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches along the coastal areas of the Arabian Sea are expected.

“Rough seas are forecast along the Arabian Sea coast, besides, reduction of visibility during fog formation and rain,” an official PACA statement read.
