PACDA hosts fire safety programme for children in Oman

Muscat: The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) hosted a training exercise for kindergarten children, on how to prevent fires.
The kindergartners in Nizwa were taught the workings of an ambulance, as well as the mechanisms of various firefighting equipment such as fire extinguishers, hosepipes and fire blankets.
They were also instructed on how to save themselves and others in the event of a fire.
"Civil Defence and Ambulance Centre in Nizwa received the children of kindergarten to teach them about the functions of civil defence and ambulance, and the mechanisms and equipment used in the implementation of their tasks," PACDA said in a statement online.
