House goes up in flames in Oman

Muscat: A house in the Wilayat of Sur went up in flames, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) announced.
No information on what started the fire was made available by authorities, but PACDA said that emergency services were able to extinguish the fire without reporting any casualties or injuries.
According to PACDA’s online statement, "Firefighters managed by the Civil Defence and Ambulance in the province of South-Sharqiyah controlled a fire in a house in the Wilayat of Sur without registering any injuries."
Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
