Minister of Civil Service to open Oman Youth Forum on Sunday

Muscat: The 3rd Oman Youth Forum will be held next Sunday at the Rotana Resort in Salalah under the theme “Future of Oman” under the patronage of Sheikh Khalid bin Omar bin Said Al Marhoon, Minister of Civil Service.
The forum is organised by the National Youth Committee in cooperation with the Future Vision Office Oman 2040 and the Secretariat General of the Supreme Council for Planning.
The forum will continue until July 24, 2018.
The forum targets youth from different governorates of the Sultanate from the age of 15 to 29 years.
This forum is part of the communication initiatives for the Future Vision Oman 2040 to enhance the participatory approach in the formulation of the vision, and is a complement to the previous forums organised by the National Youth Committee.
The aim of the forum is to introduce participants to the Future Vision Oman 2040, and to enhance the positive sense of participation in achieving the vision of Oman 2040, in addition to enhancing the youth’s future planning and to educate them about their role in building supporting orientations to the approaches of Vision 2040.
