Albayalde had said that while there was a lone shooting incident that was reported by the Police Regional Office, only one other incident was reported in the National Capital Region of Manila, where an unidentified man fainted.

The match caught the attention of almost every household in Philippines. 'Pacman' Pacquiao's victory was his first fight in over a year and his first knockout in nearly a decade that has inspired his countrymen around the world and earned plaudits from every section of society.
