Oman Air suspends flights to this city in Iraq

Muscat: The Sultanate’s national carrier, Oman Air has announced that it has suspended its flights to the Iraqi city of Najaf indefinitely.

The airlines released an official statement, saying that the decision was taken following the closure of Najaf’s airport.

Oman Air made the disclosure on its official Twitter handle.

“Dear guests, due to Najaf airport’s closure, Oman Air has suspended operations to Najaf until further notice. Updates will be posted as soon as soon as more information becomes available.

“Our call centre can be contacted on +968 24531111 and will be ready to assist you with your rebooking requirements as soon as new information about the reopening of the airport becomes available,” Oman Air tweeted.
