Oman bags 12 medals at Tunis World Para Athletics Grand Prix Series 2018

Muscat: The Oman Paralympic National Team that participated in the Tunis World Para Athletics Grand Prix Series 2018 returned home victorious with a total of 12 medals.
Oman’s team competed with 20 other countries and brought back two Gold, six Silver and four Bronze medals.
Eshraqa, Khimji Ramdas’ Social Development Arm and Oman Paralympic Committee, hosted a ceremony to welcome the team. Congratulating the athletes on their achievement and applauding their triumph in Tunisia, Nailesh Khimji, Director Khimji Ramdas, said: “We are so proud of our athletes’ performance in Tunisia and honoured to have contributed in making their participation possible.”
The felicitation ceremony was held at the Ministry of Sports Affairs on Thursday, in the presence of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Ghabsh, Deputy Wali of Muscat, and other public and private sector officials
“Eshraqa, Khimji Ramdas’ focus on health and community well-being is integral to our initiative, as is our desire for Oman’s continued success on the international sporting stage,” Nailesh Khimji added.
