BankDhofar honoured by Ministry of Health for successful blood donation drives

Muscat: In recognition of its contribution to the success of blood donation campaigns, BankDhofar was honoured by the Ministry of Health, represented by the Department of Blood Banks Services, during a ceremony, which was attended by Sheikh Khalid bin Omar Al Marhoun, Minister of Civil Service, and attended by a number of officials of the Ministry of Health.
Commenting on the recognition, Ahmed Said Al Ibrahim, general manager & chief corporate services officer noted: “Blood donation helps healthcare institutions provide safe blood units for those in need of urgent blood transfer. We are honoured to receive the recognition by the Ministry of Health represented by the Department of Blood Banks Services. The appreciation will motivate us to organise more blood donation drives. As we all know that donating blood is a noble thing to do and it helps save lives and enhances the health and well-being of those who need it the most.”
The ceremony aimed at honouring the blood donors from individuals and contributing authorities who made donation campaigns successful.
