Workers stranded on stadium floodlights in Oman rescued

Salalah: A number of maintenance workers trapped on a set of floodlights in Salalah were rescued on Monday by ​the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA).

PACDA reported "rescue teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Centre in the Dhofar Governorate rescued maintenance workers who were trapped on floodlights at the Auqad Sports Complex in the Wilayat of Salalah."

PACDA added that no injuries were recorded.
