Ministry of Health comes up with solution to shortage of blood donors during Ramadan

Muscat: The Department of Blood Services of the Ministry of Health has been organising a series of blood donation campaigns during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Oman TV reported that the campaigns come at a time in which blood donation figures see a decline, due to the fact people are fasting. The campaigns are specifically aimed at getting people to donate blood at night, so as to counter this issue.
Mohsen Al Shariani, Head of the Donation Section at the Department of Blood Services said "these campaings have been successfull and have received many blood donors."
