Muscat: Mwasalat, Oman's national transport company, has announced that it has stopped trips via certain routes to Salalah.
The reason behind this decision was the flooding of certain roads due to cyclone Mekunu that hit Oman.
In a statement online, the transport company said, "Due to the effect of floods on some roads and in coordination with the Royal Oman Police, we will stop journeys, starting from today until further notice, on these routes:Muscat-Salalah, Salalah- Al Mazyona, and Salalah-Marmul."
Yesterday, Mwasalat announced that their bus services to Dhofar and Al Wusta were resumed.
