Two expats arrested for murder in Oman

Muscat: Two expats of "Asian nationality" have been arrested on murder charges in Barka, Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced on Tuesday.

South Batinah police arrested two suspects accused of committing murder, with an official source in the ROP stating, "The Department of Criminal Investigation led by the police of the southern Batinah arrested two people of Asian nationality accused of killing a person of the same nationality in the state of Barka," adding that a dispute between the three involved had led to the murder.

The source added, "The search and investigation efforts resulted in the identification and arrest of the perpetrators, and the case is still pending."
