Yoga and ayurveda workshop held at Indian embassy

Muscat: Aasana Yoga Studio and Lama Polyclinic collaborated to host a workshop on yoga and ayurvedic wellness, to commemorate the 4th United Nations International Day of Yoga.
The ‘Yoga and Ayurveda for Natural Wellness’ workshop, under the patronage of Embassy of India, Oman, was held at the embassy auditorium on May 19, 2018. The event was inaugurated by Indra Mani Pandey, Ambassador of India, Oman, who spoke about the health and spiritual benefits of yoga and ayurveda, and how he hoped that people from all nationalities, including Omanis, would make yoga an integral part of their lifestyles to promote a healthy community.
He also welcomed the public to be a part of the 4th U.N. International Day of Yoga event, to be held on the June 21, 2018 at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Many yoga enthusiasts from all backgrounds attended this valuable workshop and showed their enthusiasm to learn and reap the benefits of Yoga and Ayurveda. Attendees experienced yoga by practicing various postures together with Aasana Yoga, represented by Yogi Shobha Naik and her team.
