Three expats arrested in Oman

Muscat: Three expats were arrested in Oman on charges of possession and abuse of drugs and for illegally selling tobacco, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced.
While two expats were arrested in Jalan Bani Bu Ali, the third one was arrested in the Wilayat of Sur.
According to the statement by ROP, "The Department of Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances, led by the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate police, managed to arrest two Asian nationals in the Wilayat of Jalan Bani Bu Ali, on charges of possession and abuse of narcotic drugs."
Meanwhile, the third expat was arrested for selling chewing tobacco at his residence. "The Department of Criminal Investigations, led by the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate police, arrested an Asian national as he sold chewing tobacco at his residence in Wilayat of Sur," the other statement by ROP read.
