​Two expats arrested for selling stolen diesel in Oman

Muscat: Two expatriates were arrested by police for stealing diesel from their place of work and selling it illegally, Royal Oman Police (ROP) reported on Thursday.

A statement released by ROP read, "The Criminal Investigation and Investigation Department at Adam police station arrested two Asian nationals on charges of stealing diesel from their business premises and selling it to a workshop for an amount of money. Thirty three (33) tanks for diesel storage were seized."

Police added that the defendants were referred to the judicial authorities to complete the investigation, against the charges filed against them.
