Muscat: A kitten that was stuck in a drain in south Al Sharqiyah was rescued by the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA).

In a statement online PACDA said, “The rescue team of the civil defence and the ambulance centre dealt with the rescue of a cat that was stuck in a cesspool in Al Nema in the Wilayat of Sur, the cat was taken out in good health.”

This rescue comes a week after PACDA rescued another kitten that got its head stuck in a drainage pipe in Mamor.
