Muscat: The final of Danube Ramadan Tennex Ball Cricket Tournament was organised on May 17. In an exciting match played between Asfandyar Xl and Klair Xl, Asfandyar Xl defeated Klair Xl Cricket Team by 5 wickets and won the 2nd Edition of Danube-Ramadan Tennex Ball Cricket Tournament 2019 organised by Al Hail Cricket Team.
Kashif of Asfandyar Xl was declared man of the match in the final while Irfan of Asfandyar Xl was declared man of the tournament and best batsman as well and Lucky of Klair Xl was adjudged the best bowler of the tournament.
Ghani Al Balushi and Khali Al Balushi, senior board members of Al Hail CT, presided over as the chief guests. They were also present during the award ceremony.
The following teams participated in the tournament : Capterpillar, OCT Ruwi, Qubic Rent A car, Ijaz Eleven , Asfandyar Xl, Qurum Star, Abeer Eleven, HOB, Titans, Klair Eleven, M- Super Kings, Star Cricket Team, Tristar Legend, Abdul Aziz Trading, Lions Cricket Team, Qais Cricket Team, SL- Brothers, Al Tasnim Xl, ALIZZ- ISLAMIC BANK and Shooting Stars. The tournament was played on knockout basis.
Tamin Ansari, Country Manager, Danube was thanked for his support to cricket in the country. He is also a cricketer and currently playing cricket in Dubai for various clubs as well as in Oman.
The organisers thanked the main sponsor Danube Oman, for their valuable support in successfully completing the tournament.
