Municipal authorities in Oman shut down one food joint, issue 13 warnings

Muscat: Municipal authorities in Al-Ashkharah, shut down one food joint and issued warnings to several others for violating food norms.
This was done during an inspection by the Jalan Bani Bu Ali Municipality.
In a statement online the municipality said, “The municipality of Jalan Bani Bu Ali shut down one food joint and issued 13 warnings, in addition to destroying food from five food joints, during an inspection at restaurants, cafes and shops selling food in Al-Ashkharah area.”
