Muscat: The first signs of rain were seen in Wilayat of Shinas in Northern Al Batinah.
According to the latest report from the Public Authority for Civil Aviation, Oman is expected to be affected by a depression from "Saturday, 18 May, until Wednesday, 22 May."
According to the directorate, the peak of the depression's affects will include occasion thundershowers and hail that reach their peak "on 19 and 20 of May."
