Indian School in Oman announces increase in tuition fees

MUSCAT: Indian School Muscat (ISM), the largest co-educational institution in the Gulf with over 9,200 students, is raising its tuition fees from this year.
In a circular issued by the school, Dr Rajeev Kumar Chauhan, Principal of ISM, said, “The Board of Directors has approved the proposal from the school management committee, seeking an increase of OMR2 per month in the tuition fee of students from Standards I to XII for the academic year 2018-2019. The additional revenue generated from the fee increase would be utilised mainly towards the long-awaited restructuring of the staff’s salary in the new session.”
