Schneider Electric, Al Rawabi win ‘Network Optimization of the Year’ award

Dubai: Schneider Electric, the leader in digital transformation of Energy Management and Automation and Al Rawabi, the largest UAE-based dairy company, by production and livestock size and were felicitated at the Future Network Awards under the category of ‘Network Optimization of the Year”.
This recognition comes in view of Al Rawabi’s successful Digital Transformation of its Energy Management Systems with the Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Power architecture and Power Monitoring Expert system.
Al Rawabi Dairy’s main goal in Digital Transformation was to understand the health of their electrical network on real time basis and mitigate any issues that may arise which used to result in failure of control cards and stoppage of the production line.
In addition, Al Rawabi Dairy consumes a large amount of water that is used for cleaning and washing purposes and it was imperative to monitor the water consumption which was done by integrating Schneider’s systems.
With the deployment of Schneider’s EcoStruxure Power Monitoring Expert, Al Rawabi Dairy is able to identify the causes of high water, power usage reasons for disruption in their production line, reduce the consumption, save on costs and reduce downtime.
By undergoing digital transformation, Al Rawabi Dairy today has a very robust Energy and Water Monitoring system and is seeing continuous improvement in their power and water costs in addition to improve productivity and reduce maintenance costs.
