Muscat: Working ATMs and cleaner restrooms were both on the agenda as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry gears up for this year’s Khareef in Dhofar.

In preparation for the season which falls between June 21 and September 21 of each year, the Ministry met with the competent authorities to highlight the important details that need to be in place. All present confirmed that each sector was ready to cope with the influx of tourists and visitors.

The meeting was chaired by Jamal bin Abdullah Al Hinai, Director General of the General Directorate of Commerce and Industry in Dhofar.

Government and commercial food services companies were present as well as bank owners and petroleum marketing companies.
