South Korea: A Russian bobsledder has been disqualified from the Winter Olympics after testing positive for a banned drug. That's according to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, which said Nadezhda Sergeeva tested positive for a heart drug used to treat angina.
A Russian official says the dose was so small that she may not have consumed a pill but could have "got sprayed or smelled something or licked something."
Sergeeva finished 12th with Anastasia Kocherzhova in the women's bobsleigh competition on Wednesday. Her disqualification comes on the heels of Russian curler Alexander Krushelnitsky agreeing to hand back his mixed-team bronze medal after testing positive for meldonium. It also comes as the International Olympic Committee's executive board was meeting to discuss whether to lift the suspension of Russia's Olympic committee and possibly allow them to march with the Russian flag at Sunday's closing ceremony.
If the suspension is not lifted, the athletes will march as they did for the opening ceremony behind the Olympic flag, in neutral uniforms.
