Vendors arrested, wares seized in Oman

Muscat: A number of street vendors, who were found selling vegetables without a permit, were arrested and their wares were seized by the Muscat Municipality on Tuesday night.

The arrests took place after the Urban Inspection Department of Muscat Municipality carried out raids in Ruwi.

The Municipality announced online, “Muscat Municipality in Greater Muttrah represented by the Urban Inspection Department arrested a number of street vendors during raids at night in Ruwi. They confiscated the wares that were being sold.”
