SalamAir announces three direct flights to Multan

Muscat: Oman’s first budget airline, SalamAir, has expanded its flight operations in Pakistan and has announced three direct flights to Multan, which is SalamAir’s third destination in Pakistan.
The airline currently flies to Sialkot and Karachi.
The new flights are set to take off at 23:55 from Muscat, and arrive in Multan at 3:30. The return flights will depart from Multan at 4:50, and arrive in Muscat at 6:35. Return tickets can be booked at a price of OMR88.
The Muscat-Multan sector had been a long-standing demand of passengers of the two countries. It became operational when a private airline from Pakistan won the rights to fly the sector in December 2017.
SalamAir will now have nine out of a total 67 weekly flights between Pakistan and Oman: Oman Air (30), SalamAir (9), Pakistan International Airline (16), Shaheen Air (10), and Air Blue (2).
“Unprecedented and highest frequencies will solidly substantiate bilateral friendship, augment tourism and people-to-people exchanges, in addition to providing diverse and competitive flying options to the public,” said Ali Javed, Ambassador of Pakistan.
CEO of SalamAir Captain Mohamed Ahmed affirmed that he remained deeply committed to furthering the scope of SalamAir’s operations to Pakistan.
The new addition to the destinations of SalamAir was announced at a cake-cutting ceremony, where both the Ambassador of Pakistan to Oman and Ahmed discussed matters of mutual interest and praised the remarkable rise in the trajectory of bilateral cooperation in aviation services.
