Video: Indian foreign minister Sushma Swaraj visits Saudi Arabia

Muscat: Sushma Swaraj, the Minister of External Affairs of India is visiting Saudi Arabia for the first time.
The minister will be in Saudi, which is home to about 3.2 million Indians, from 6 to 8 February, 2018. She is there to meet leaders of the nation and also to inaugurate the national and cultural festival, ‘Janadriyah’, where India is the guest of honour country.
According to a statement put out by the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Swaraj will also discuss “bilateral, regional and global issues of mutual interest”.
Saudi Arabia is the fourth largest trading partner for India with bilateral trade exceeding $25 billion in 2016-17. As India’s largest supplier of crude oil, Saudi Arabia accounts for about 20 per cent of their total annual imports, the statement further read.
