Indian schools start counselling sessions for students in Oman

Muscat: Pre-exam psychological counselling for Indian school students based in Oman attempting the Grade 10 and 12 board exams has begun, and will continue till April 13 this year.

The Central Board of Secondary Education's (CBSE) annual counselling is an outreach programme which caters to students and their parents across the world.

Dr. Sridevi P. Thashnath, principal of Indian School Darsait has once again been appointed as the CBSE pre-exam psychological counsellor in Oman, to provide counselling services to students before and during the examinations to overcome common psychological problems and exam related stress.

This is the fifth consecutive year that the CBSE has appointed Dr. Thashnath as a counsellor for Indian school students in Oman.

Students appearing for their Board Examinations in March, 2018 — and their parents who require any counselling services — may make use of this voluntary, free of cost service by emailing the principal at [email protected] with subject marked as 'Counselling', or call this number: +968 9943 2243.

The counselling service began February 1 2018 and will continue up to 13th April 2018 on all working days, from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
