OCCI members to elect chief, deputies

Muscat: The Board of Directors of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in all the governorates of the Sultanate will meet today to elect a chairman and a deputy to the board of directors of each branch by secret ballot at the OCCI headquarters under the supervision of the Election Committee of OCCI.
The winners of the membership of OCCI will meet at the OCCI headquarters with the chairmen of the boards of branches in the governorates on Sunday, to elect by secret ballot chairman of the board and two deputies and two other members to form the five Executive Committee.
The meeting will also include the appointment of a secretary of the executive management, and the election of the members of the audit and investment committees who are not members of the executive committee in accordance with Article (23) by Royal Decree No. 45/2017.
The Board of Directors of OCCI consists of (5) members from the Governorate of Muscat, as well as (10) chairmen of OCCI boards of directors in the governorates.
