“There are a limited number of seats between Oman and India and, hopefully, with the negotiations we will be able to secure more seats to India. Anywhere we fly to India will be good for us; whether we fly to the south or the capital Delhi. We are looking forward to flying to all the destinations in India,” he added.
As per the agreement between India and Oman in 2016, the number of weekly seats was increased to 27,405 for both sides, compared with 21,145 seats earlier.
He also stated that SalamAir will soon be announcing travel packages. “We will soon be launching holiday packages on our website,” said Captain Ahmed.
“This summer we are planning to start flying to some very attractive destinations, such as Baku (Azerbaijan) and Tbilisi (Georgia),” he noted.
Additionally, SalamAir is planning to offer Umrah packages, as well. “The work is still under progress for Umrah and Jeddah packages, and hopefully we will be announcing them soon,” said Captain Ahmed.
