Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara continues with its exciting culinary series by hosting Oman’s first and only celebrity chef Issa Al Lamki on January 26. For one night only, the legendary chef will be taking over the kitchen at Sakalan, bringing his authentic flavours and vibrant personality to Southern Oman.

Charming and passionate, Chef Issa’s career spans more than two decades, working in the kitchens of prominent hotels across the region and serving royalty before getting his big break on Omani TV. From there, he has represented the Sultanate around the globe, introducing countries such as Italy and France to the joys of Oman’s traditional cuisine and warm hospitality, whilst also working closely with charities and dedicating himself to training young people in the art of cooking.

Local residents and guests staying at Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara will have the chance to sample Chef Issa’s creative and authentic cuisine with a buffet on January 26. With dishes such as meat shuwa bags, fish paplo soup, camel biryani and grilled King fish with eggplant and coconut tomato sauce followed by date tiramisu and Omani halwa stuffed in puff pastry, it is set to be a very special night in Salalah.
