Oman women’s team to play series against Qatar’s Stallions

Muscat: After their recent tour of Malaysia, Oman women’s cricket team are gearing up for more action - this time for a two-match home series against a strong coaching academy side from Qatar.

Stallions Cricket Academy, aiming to develop young colts into strong stallions, will be touring Oman to play two 25-over games under floodlights against Oman on January 26 and 27.

Oman team is currently training under the guidance of their coaching and training staff to be in fine fettle for the upcoming series.

Both the matches will be played at Ministry of Sports Affairs Ground I. The first game will start at 6.00 pm on January 26 while the second will be played from 4.00 pm the next day.

“Entry to the matches is absolutely free and cricket fans are welcome to come in good numbers and watch the two teams in action,” Oman Cricket said in a statement.
