Galfar wins tender to add extra lanes to Rusayl-Nizwa road

Muscat: Galfar Engineering and Contracting Company won the tender to add a third and fourth lane to the Rusayl – Nizwa road, according to Muscat Securities Market (MSM).

According to MSM, the project is worth OMR 86.24 million and it will cover the stretch from the intersection of Muscat Expressway to the intersection at Bidbid, which is part of the Al Sharqiyah road.

According to MSM, the company said that it had received a letter from the Minstry of Transport and Communications dated May 8, 2019.

“The completion period is 912 days in addition to 60 days for mobilization,” it further said.

Galfar expects reasonable income from the project, MSM further added.
