Omani, Somali businessmen explore bilateral investment opportunities

Muscat: Means of enhancing commercial and investment relations between Somalia and Oman were discussed when businessmen of the two countries met at the OCCI on Tuesday.
The Somali business delegation is specialised in the field of fisheries. The delegation also discussed with OCCI officials the means of sharing expertise and experience between the two countries.
Eng. Ridha bin Juma Al Saleh, OCCI Deputy Chairman for Administrative and Financial Affairs pointed out that the Sultanate has achieved a good level in the field of fish production and export due to its strong relations with the friendly countries.
He added that the Sultanate is looking forward to increase its production in the future.
He also highlighted the available investment opportunities in the Sultanate that would enable the Somali delegation to set up commercial and investment partnerships with the Omani businessmen.
The Somali delegation held bilateral meetings during which the two sides familiarised themselves with investment opportunities in the two countries.
