​22 expats held in Oman over Labour Law breaches

Muscat: Police arrested 22 expats in Barka, according to a statement from the Royal Oman Police (ROP).

An official source in ROP said that: "The police command of the south Batinah and security attache of various police formations carried out a security campaign to arrest lawbreakers in Barka."

The source added: "The campaign resulted in the arrest of 22 violators of Labour and residency law. The legal proceedings have been taken against the accused and they have been referred to the judicial authorities."
