Princess Dina Mired Al Hussein hails Oman efforts in healthcare field

Muscat: Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of State, Governor of Muscat received yesterday Princess Dina Mired Al Hussein, President of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) who is in the Sultanate to prepare for 2020 World Cancer Leaders Summit to be hosted by the Sultanate.
The two sides exchanged cordial conversations and discussed issues of common concern between the Sultanate and UICC.
Sayyid Saud commended the UICC leading role in deepening world communication and supporting the states' policies in health fields. He affirmed that the Governorate of Muscat would exert all possible efforts to ensure success of the upcoming summit.
On her turn, Princess Dina Mired Al-Hussein, UICC President expressed her delight to visit the Sultanate. She hailed the major efforts being exerted in healthcare field for citizens and residents, as well as qualitative shift and remarkable progress in services at hospitals, thanks to the royal care of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Wahid bin Ali Al Kharousi, Chairman of Oman Cancer Association (OCA), Jessica Mathieu, Head of Events and Congress at UICC and representatives at the Ministry of Health.
