Armed forces shooters honoured on His Majesty’s orders

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, ordered to honour the armed forces shooting team, national shooting team and military sports teams that represented the Sultanate in several regional and international competitions in 2017.
The teams were honoured in recognition of their excellent showing and achievements in these competitions. A ceremony in this regard was organised at the SAF Theatre on Monday under the auspices of Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib Al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs, to honour the athletes.
The chief guest and the attendees were briefed and viewed a visual presentation on the achievements of the shooting team at the local, regional and international competitions. The event was attended by Mohammed bin Nasser Al Rasbi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence, the SAF Chief of Staff, the Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman (RGO), Acting Commander of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, the Acting Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman, a number of senior officers, commissioned and non-commissioned officers at SAF, RGO, ROP, Royal Court Affairs and invitees.
