Rescue mission for Oman swimmer still on

Muscat: An operation to locate a missing swimmer feared drowned in Al Musannah is still ongoing, Oman's Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) has announced.

Officials said: “We received a report regarding a person drowned in the sea in Wilayat Al Musannah. Rescue teams at PACDA in South Al Batinah were on the site.”

Rescue teams had to call off the search at night, due to poor visibility, but have resumed their operations this morning.
