Education ministry launches e-training project

Muscat: The Ministry of Education inaugurated yesterday the e-training project under the patronage of Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education at the main training centre in Al Khuwair.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan Al Toobi, Advisor to the Ministry, Saud bin Salim Al Balushi, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Educational Planning and Human Resources Development, Laila bint Ahmed Al Najjar, Advisor to the Minister for Educational Programs and a number of directors general and directors in the ministry.
The e-training project is one of the most important initiatives undertaken by the Ministry.
It is based on the need to diversify the training form, to meet the needs of its employees, and to reach them in a manner that takes into account their circumstances and privacy. The e-training depends on providing its programmes by using modern technology, and development of trainees.
